Cargo Service Agent

An international freight forwarding company is looking for an experienced cargo service agent (3+ years of experience).
A potential candidate should have a sound knowledge of air freight pricing and documentation, as well as customs and airport procedures in United Arab Emirates.
Job Profile includes, but is not limited to:

Receiving customer enquiries

Obtaining quotes and negotiating prices with airlines/GSAs/brokers

Providing quotations to customers and following up

Processing and booking confirmed flights

Working in Calogi system

Negotiating with airlines/GSAs/brokers in order to ensure optimal pricing

Preparing documentation for airport and customs procedures for outgoing/incoming cargoes as well as for transit shipments

Ensuring smooth departure/collection at the airport

المهارات

Excellent knowldge of Calogi system

Strong knowledge of IATA regulations

Hands on experience with UAE import/export procedures

Good verbal/written communication skills

Experience in air freight and cargo handling

Valid UAE driving license

A valid DGR handling certificate is preferred
