Our client is a leading multiline group operating in different industries seeking to recruit a ‘‘Business Planning Manager’’ to be based in Dubai – UAE. The position will be reporting to the Head of Business Planning.

*Candidate must be a Graduate or Post-Graduate Degree, preferably in Business/ Finance*Minimum of 9 years’ experience in strategy, market assessment and business development *Experience working in management consulting firms is essential*In addition, can have experience working in Strategic Planning Departments or management consulting firms*Candidate will Lead the development of business plans and feasibility studies to enter new verticals, *proactive identification of potential partners in selected verticals as assigned by Head - Business *Planning to achieve optimum revenues and the group strategies*Manage setup of new businesses including legal documentation and structures in co-ordination with Legal, Corporate Finance and other relevant functions*Based on the directions received from the Group leadership carry out the development of the company long term, medium term and short term strategic goals assist in the development of annual plans to facilitate the achievement of the set objectives*Partner with the company leadership for assigned functions and advice on factors to consider in developing successful business plans in order to support effective cascading of group strategies across the group*Formulate, review/ develop and update economic/business/marketing models designed to provide market intelligence for the group leadership so as to visualise the effect of changing factors on organisation’s business over a given period of time*Review, prepare / update related template such as business plan template, procedures and other related documentation in line with world class standards while ensuring effective sharing of information across the group to facilitate achievement of quality standards and consistency*Manage the database of all related strategic planning documentation, in line with the group policies and procedures*Lead/develop research and analytical reports on potential market opportunities for organic growth or growth by partnership (acquisitions, joint ventures, or alliances) including competitive environment and market trends to support informed decision making*Lead/conduct industry research on national and international trends, identifying opportunities for the business as directed by the Group Business *Planning Manager and as per leads provided by senior management*Development of an end to end business and Enterprise Performance Management framework by ensuring relevant financial and non-financial KPIs are defined, tracked and reported effectivelyLead/develop a reporting framework that allows the group and business units to have full visibility on progress in achieving defined objectivesLead/develop the group dashboard highlighting critical indices to present a holistic view of the organisation’s performance in alignment to the group overall strategy and business plan*Lead/conduct the development of comprehensive high level analysis on the financial performance of the group based on internal financial, MIS, KPI etc. and report to senior management*Act as a programme/project lead for the effective delivery of strategic projects in collaboration with business units to support achievement of sustainable profitable growth*Candidate will be involved in the communication & networking*He/ she has to develop and maintain effective business relationships with all relevant external/internal entities with highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner*In the Business Development, he or she has to demonstrate the ability to drive business development to win new work from existing customers, as well as new customers across the Group*Be responsible for proactive efforts to explore opportunity areas for business development across the group in collaboration with functional leadership to convert ideas into concrete engagements for execution*Independently call on mid to senior-level managers and executives and other representatives to generate ideas for potential projects*Diagnose and assess customer needsPrescribe, design and convert strategic proposals into approved interventions using the full range of existing or custom P&BE;content, solutions, and / or programs*Write and oversee effective development and construct of project proposals for presentation to prospective internal customers / sponsorsLead/ Develop all related reports and statements in a comprehensive, accurate and timely manner, and meet business and functional requirements and standards*Project Customer SatisfactionHO Customer Satisfaction Survey*High Analytical/ Numerical ability*Experience in financial modelling*Ability to interact with all functions and levels*Communication and presentation skills
