Our Client is a leading conglomerate in UAE seeking to recruit a ‘‘Group Chief Financial Officer’’ to be based in Dubai, UAE. Position will be reporting to the Vice Chairman
المهارات
• MBA, with professional qualification in accounting
• 20 Years’ experience, out of which at least 7 years in managerial level, in diversified businesses in the field of finance, external auditing and internal auditing
• Provide leadership in the development of financial controls, financial policies, procedures and guidelines, risk assessment and management to ensure that financial risks are identified and addressed
• Direct the planning, implementing, controlling, and managing all aspects of the finance and accounting functions to ensure compliance to IFRS and standards
• Manage the group funding requirements, the banking relationship and banking contractual commitments, and oversee the cash flow planning to ensure availability of funds and honoring commitments
• Provide leadership in developing and directing the financial reporting, analysis and forecasts to ensure timely and accurate reporting and identification of risks and measurement performance
• Create and evaluate the financial programs and approve changes in automated financial management system for the company to ensure company integrity of records
• Supervise valuations, review feasibility studies and restructuring projects and special assignments in coordination with Vice Chairman and participate in key decisions as a member of the group top management to ensure proper addressing of critical matters
• Approve financial requests relating to commitments, credit, purchases, inventory, banking and other related matters to ensure compliance with company financial guidelines
• Lead the resolution of complex financial transactions to ensure compliance to IFRS and proper control procedures
• Direct the investigation of possible irregularities to protect company resources and strengthen the control environment
• Sign bank related documents as authorized signatory that is in accordance to company guidelines and rules
• Assess business units and joint ventures performance and budgets and provide recommendations/ advice to strategically enhance financial performance and business operations
• Establish and implement short and long range finance department goals, objectives, policies and financial procedures to ensure company financial position is protected
• Establish and maintain strong relationship with senior executives to ensure efficient process flow
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate department staff to ensure work is properly organized and efficiently carried out
• Direct the management of the external auditing process to ensure compliance to IFRS and timely execution of audit and finalization of auditors report
• Strong leadership skills, team building, multitasks organizer, goal oriented, and strategic thinker
• Strong in planning, risk assessment and management, controls, financial and operational procedures, IFRS, budgets, banking and accounting
• Age limit 65 years old
• Nationality: Arabic speaker is a must
