• Manage and supervise day to day operations in the finance department• Lead a team of accountants & CA’sKey Responsibilities• Managing all accounting operations including payrolling, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow management, credit control and general ledger.• Transactional activities include:o Ensuring that monthly payroll for outsourced associates and internal staff are processed on time.o Ensuring that customer invoices are raised and dispatched to customers within two working days from month end.o Managing working capital and daily cash flow including monitoring daily collections and supplier payments to reduce borrowing costs.o Managing credit control function and collections effectively to ensure that DSO days are lesser than target.o Review pricing and commercials for all new contracts and ensure that pricing policy and guidelines are followed.o Performing monthly review of all journal entries.• Ensuring quality assurance for all financial transactions and financial reporting.• Ensuring that month end and year end close processes are carried out in RAMCO ERP• Ensuring that Balance Sheet schedules are maintained for all Balance Sheet accounts.• Coordinating with external auditors for timely completion of statutory audit.• Developing and documenting accounting policies and SOP’s for all financial transactions to ensure that a strong internal control environment is always maintained.• Coordinating with the accounting team in India to ensure seamless processing of all transactional activities.• Manage a team of 15 accountants in UAE and India and actively contribute to their career development to improve retention ratios.• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks
المهارات
• Degree in Accounting/Related Subjects. CA QualificationSkills and Competencies• 8- 10 years of experience working in a service industry preferred, with at least 2 years in managerial capacity.• Prior experience in an outsourcing company would be an added advantage.• Should have very strong fundamentals and accounting concepts.• Good working knowledge of ERP/ accounting software.• Should have excellent communications skills and leadership abilities.• Committed team player.
