To help our Belgian client grow further, we now hire a full stack developer. This Belgian client is the number one platform that offers a solution for groups to collect money online so they can buy gifts in an easy way.

You will work independently in our office in Dubai, but you will be integrated into the team of our client in Belgium on a remote base.

To communicate we use all the communication tools we have. Video calls, messages, Slack, ... We become one digital team with our client so that we never lose sight of each other. To start with, we need someone with excellent communication skills.
What you will do?
You are responsible for building and maintaining the most important functionalities and APIs for third parties.
You help diagnose the errors in the code by using code reviewing.
Currently, the complete code is written in PHP.
Frontwise everything still has to be transferred from Laravel to Vue, and also this will be one of your tasks.
Scripts are written in AWS and soon the platform will be expanded with more tools. Therefore we are looking for a creative person who dares to come up with his/her own ideas.

You are a professional match when:
-You can integrate with the remote team of our client in Belgium. We put a high value on communication, which is why you are an absolute frontrunner and you are not afraid to engage in an interaction to share new innovative topics with both your remote team and our client.
-You understand that taking initiative is expected.
-You feel comfortable working in a scalable environment, preferably you have already gained experience in a start-up company.
-You immerse yourself in the latest developments.
-You love what you do.
-You are a technical match when:
-You have at least 10 years work experience of which at least 6 years as a full stack developer.
-You have experience with creating and building REST APIs.
-You have deep experience with:
- HTML5, CSS3 en Javascript.
- PHP
- Vue.js
- Laravel
- AWS
- Video encoding on the Amazon platform
- Mobile payments
-You can easily manage projects with Git.
Tech skills - the more the better:
- Caching technologies such as Memcached and Redis
- AWS eco-system
- SASS
- knowledge and/or interest in ai
- leadership skills is an added value - for the future
