Supply Chain Manager

الوصف الوظيفي
The ideal candidate should have strong experience and knowledge in Supply Chain Management in a food manufacturing company,with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role. This role will be responsible for Logistics, Warehousing, Procurement & Customs clearance.
Job Responsibilities
• Ensure the chain of Supply (Demand planning /procurement of Raw Materials /warehouse / Logistics and Customer Service) is managed in the most effective and efficient way toward achieving the long and short term organization objectives
• Ensure proper forecast exercise is in place / running MRP and the requirements delivered accordingly
• Analyze historical data related to demand volumes and values/ inventory strategy and current inventory levels
• Financial responsibility in handling the budget, planning and reports for the supply chain department.
• Ensure all produce is purchased with the best quality and at the best price
• Negotiate price and delivery schedule with suppliers
• Ensure products arrival on the date and time specified
• Ensure proper documentation is made by suppliers and shipping lines as per customer requirements
• Ensure constant supply of raw material for production (as per Demand requirements)
• Responsible for the distribution network to all customers in a timely basis
• Managing all warehouses activities.
• Fleet management
• Monitoring of supplies from various supply sources
• Monitoring of air, sea and land shipments – import and export
• Maintaining and monitoring proper required temperatures in supply vehicles and various store rooms
• Deployment of employees in the most effective manner
• Negotiating rates from service providers and Finalizing rates for long term benefits
• Maintaining and monitoring stocks of various items in packaging
• Set key performance indicators and closely monitor the performance to maintain precise procedures in accordance with management commitments
• Set standard operating procedures and ensure their implementation through various different department
• Liaison with vendors on customs/import/export formalities through customs and country of origin
• Proper and effective manpower management
• Monitoring daily activities of various departments and making any necessary adjustments
• Planning for the arrival of shipments
• To manage overall supply chain activities to ensure timely deliveries, maintenance of cold-chain, conformance with delivery hygiene and safety SOPs to ensure that only safe and high quality food reaches the customer
