Safety Officer

Job Description
• Responsible for setting up of company Hse management system and implementation towards achieving set safety goals and objectives.
• Assessing the engineering controls, administrative controls and Ppe on an ongoing basis.
• Advising management on Hse issues in line with legislation and approved Hse standards.
• Responsible for development and establishment of company Hse rules and guidelines for ensuring safe work practice, as well as ensuring employees follow safety procedures.
• Responsible for taking leading role in incident investigation and reporting and recommended barriers to be put in place towards preventing future re occurrence.
• Monthly emergency fire mock drill for all employees.
• Responsible for planning, organizing/ effective management of all company’s Hse Programs.

The Hse officer is responsible for Health, Safety, Environment and Security of the plant. He will be responsible in setting up Hse policies, plans and programmed for the betterment of employees. He ensures the workplace is safe enough and zero accidents is achieved. Regular health and safety training for employees. And, to ensure the rules and regulation by the Ehs – Trakhees and Dubai civil defense are followed. The decisions required for the improvement of Hse in the plant to be taken by Hse officer and report it to the Managing Director. The Hse officer also plays an important role in the implementation of new Safety initiatives to support the production process.

Candidates must have:

B.E Mechanical engineer, Nebosh, Adoshem, Certified course in Fire Safety and Medic First aid

Working with manufacturing companies in Hse department for at least 3 years.

Ability to manage the Hse department and to handle the situation in any kind of emergencies.

Ability to train and coach all the employees in the above area
