Manager – Fleet Depot

The purpose of the Fleet Depot Manager post is to manage the delivery of fleet transport operations in their designated area. This role will require the successful candidate to build a close working relationship with client representatives, stakeholders and volunteers, ensuring all service levels are achieved and unforeseen demand is accommodated for. The role will also be responsible for the correct implementation of policies and procedures during Event Time and creating processes to ensure the efficient running of the Fleet Depot.
The main responsibilties of this role will include:
- Lead and manage the implementation of fleet transport management services in the designated fleet depot;
- Ensure the delivery of the fleet objectives;
- Coordinate and provide transportation services for Event Officials, Event Guests and Workforce, including airport arrivals and departures and transport between hotel venues, transport hubs, match venues and other locations, as defined on the official destination list;
- Liaise with depot providers, and integrate our operations to run aside their existing ones;
- Manage all day-to-day issues relating to fleet operation in the designated area;
- Keep up-to-date with and fully understand Expo 2020 transport arrangements and fleet requirements during the Event;
- Liaise closely with the Fleet Operations Manager regarding the daily schedule and report relevant issues in a timely manner, as agreed with the Fleet Operations Manager;
- Be a valuable source of geographic information and local knowledge relating to the designated area.

المهارات
- 6+ years similar experience as well as:
- A Bachelor’s Degree required;
- Experience of managing and delivering transport depots for large scale events, preferably within a mega event environment;
- Experience of managing staff/volunteers and working with a variety of stakeholders;
- Proven communication skills, ability to deliver on the ground operations and quality written reports;
- Knowledgeable about major event transport related matters;
- Open and with high integrity and a positive ‘can do’ attitude;
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
