Senior Manager - Command and Control

The purpose of the role of the Senior Manager – Command and Control is to be responsible for the operation and management of communication, surveillance and detection systems for the venues and zones during event time. The role includes supporting the event operational functions, processes and SOPs.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Prepare a detailed plan based on Concept of Operations, in consultation with the Head of Security Operations and relevant stakeholders;
- Support the Head of Security Operations in defining the short term and long-term goals and objectives for both the readiness and event phases;
- Oversee and Manage Security Planning and Delivery for Command and Control during the phases as defined;
- Plan and build initiatives and deliverables against defined operational plans to achieve Expo2020 goals and objectives;
- Develop detailed plans for Command and Control to cover all aspects of the security arrangements as directed including; scenario, contingency, Incident Management and emergency evacuation, and others;
- Draft and Execute on Security Plans, and Standard Operating Procedures to support the above;
- Coordinate Emergency response teams as and when needed, to ensure an effective outcome;
- Lead and deliver on Plans ensuring effective execution, working closely with Workforce, Machinery and Logistics.

المهارات
- 10 years’ experience in Security or similar role;
- Military, Police or Security background;
- Demonstrated time management skills;
- Demonstrated experience in delivering on plans;
- Demonstrated experience in Incident Management and Conflict Resolution;
- Strong Attention to detail skills;
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in Planning and Organisation;
- Thorough understanding of Security operations.
