Job Description and Requirements
You will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out the skilled installation, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting and repair work, on site on a variety of electronic, electrical and pneumatic instrumentation and systems relating to either Process or Utilities. Equipment includes flow pressure and temperature devices, control valves, fire and gas detection systems, product meters and PLC, DCS and SCADA systems. Performs servicing, condition monitoring, fault diagnosis and restorative tasks on emergency shutdown systems, manage and demonstrate servicing, condition monitoring, fault diagnosis and restorative tasks on gas turbine control systems, fuel gas control valves and governors. Performs servicing, condition monitoring, fault diagnosis and restorative tasks on metering systems and equipment
Requirements
The successful candidate must have a Diploma in the Instrument trade. 7 years experience in the maintenance, calibration of a variety of electronic, pneumatic and electrical instrumentation in an oil or gas processing plant including experience with PLC, emergency shutdown systems and DCS
