The purpose of the Senior Manager – IP Content and Programming role is to lead the development of the IP content masterplan and be responsible for programmatic delivery from their inception.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Contribute to the development of the IP content masterplan;
- Take responsibility for the development and delivery of the IP programmes and coordination of the projects and management of Expo 2020 inter-dependencies;
- Lead the development of internal tools, like templates, processes, procedures, risks management, budget and workforce planning;
- Analyze the content and programming using qualitative and quantitative methods to identify trends and outliers. Synthesize the content, develop data visualization (graphs, tables), deliver insights, and produce reports;
- Assist in the development and management of IP content and programming potential from the Theme Statements and ongoing dialogue with the participating countries;
- Help to deliver on the identified 4-5 key programmes at Expo 2020 and contribute to the design and delivery of selected IP deliverables (this might include pavilion awards, IP calendar or promotion of countries in media);
- Lead the process of venue booking by International Participants (this might include design of the SLAs, engagement of relevant internal stakeholders, development of reports on current state of the requests, developing recommendations for conflicting requests);
- Identify, analyze and share in a form of reports, content relevant to other teams within Expo (e.g. International Business Engagement team);
- Structure and lead dialogue with other Expo departments on the engagement of countries in potential content and programming opportunities led by those departments;
- Manage relationship with the concerned stakeholders;
- Evaluate and advise on practice alignment across Expo departments where relevant or requested.
•Alert Directors and SVPs to any and all political or sensitive matters that are non-technical that arise, for senior management guidance and action, as necessary.

المهارات
8 years or more of experience in research and/or programme management (preferably in the international relations context), as well as:
- Degree & Masters qualification;

- Structured thinking: identifies gaps and overlapping elements; structure programmes/ideas/initiatives from scratch;
- Implementation: develops robust implementation plan for programmes/ideas/initiatives;
- Research: quickly identifies the right data sources; picks up relevant information, and synthesize complex and confounding information into simple insights;
- Reporting: produces succinct reports in PowerPoint and Word, including data visualizations; applies editing, proof-reading and finds relevant imagery;
- Analytics: uses quantitative and qualitative methods, structures Excel file, cleans data, and produces reports. Comfortable with basic data operations (e.g. Pivot tables, data visualization and formatting);
- Presentation and composure: comfortable presenting in front of high level delegations and deliver work in fast-paced team environment;
- Strong effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to lead, command respect and to create a sense of cohesion and support in the International Participants team;
- Calm in pressured programme environments;
- Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programme;
- In depth understanding of education, cultural, and social programing;
- Diplomatic and discreet.
