Honeywell Airports Business (HAB) is looking for an experienced leader for our Solution Design Centre (SDC) team. This leader will oversee a centralized group of Estimators, Proposal Writers, and Solution Designers dedicated to generating estimates and proposals for all HAB products, as well as facilitating the HBS Sales Process through Bid Management. The SDC leader will report to the Global Sales Director for HAB and matrix report to the Global Proposal & Estimation leader in Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS). The position will be located in Dubai, UAE.

The HAB SDC Leader will be expected to define work flow, roles and responsibilities and standard process/tools for all bid management, estimation and proposal writing roles of the HAB organization. The overall objective is to drive an increased win rate at a lower cost to serve.

Responsibilities

Ensure the quality of real or perceived proposals generated is met or exceeds expectations (internal and external customers)
Manage proposals response time in order meet required cycle time expectations (internal & external customers)
Build relationships with the Sales and HAB organization to ensure a seamless process for the SDC organization
The utilization of a global standard tool set and process for estimation and proposal delivery for all SDC team members
Establishment of a KPI dashboard to track progress of team deliverables including customer (Sales) satisfaction feedback
YOU MUST HAVE

BSC /BA degree and proven operations experience in a Project delivery/ Engineering or Estimation role
Experience of working within the Airports / Air-side Solutions market
Experience of working in a leadership capacity and managing cross functional teams
