MERTA Technical Services Leader
Innovate to solve the world’s most important challenges
Use your broadly recognized subject matter expertise to influence customers toward Honeywell solutions. You will provide both external and internal consultations, and will help Honeywell teams develop and maintain the right product messaging, customer support, and training. You will drive cross-functional alignment to customer needs. You will participate in pursuit strategy planning, and customer negotiations. You may consult prospective users on product capability. You may provide valuable input for product development. You will develop the needed knowledge and skills within your team.
Be a “go-to” person that bridges product strategy and implementation Help Honeywell win customers by sharing your knowledge about products and solutions that compete on the market Own Honeywell value proposition, influencing customer choice in a smart way.
Responsibilities;
Manage and develop the solution architect and SPS service teams across METRA
Establishes and drives a strong unified organization between pre-sales, sales, and after-sales engineering services and technical support
Drive service penetration through sales and sales + services bundling.
Build up in-house engineering solutions and high degree of product and solution technical knowledge
Achieve Service Attach rate goals
Create internal capability to create complete product and solution proposal locally
Foster a team based environment
Work with sales team to help close major opportunities
Embrace and deliver change to the business in a positive, understanding and forward thinking manner
Prepare development plans and hold performance reviews with direct reports and conduct all performance management actions required
Establish long term business relationships with partners and participate in major sales opportunities

Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience, or advanced professional certification with significant experience in the field.

In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor platforms, products and technologies
Experience in technical writing and preparation of proposals
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements and future mandates
Ability to achieve results through influence in a matrixed environment
Ability to travel up to 50% both domestically and internationally
Extensive management experience
Ability to communicate effectively across language and cultural barriers
