The Service Delivery manager is responsible for the definition, implementation and operational effectiveness of IT Service Management processes for Expo infrastrastructure, systems and services. The Service Manager ensures seamless technology operations for all Expo IFT services through process definition & effectiveness, continuous improvement and collaboration amongst Expo staff and its vendors. The Service Manager is subject matter expert for all technology service management processes, tooling, vendor management and continuous improvement topics within Expo IFT.
Main responsibilities for this role include:
- Provides direction on all IT Service management processes, tooling, vendor management, governance and continuous improvement topics relevant for IFT services;
- Definition and implementation of an operational support model across Expo technology staff and providers;
- Defines and implements Service Level Agreements and KPIs to measure performance of the function;
- Maintains an IT Service Catalogue and manages the onboarding of new services into operation;
- Drives continuous improvement through ticket analysis, user feedback, reactive and proactive problem management, process improvement, training, end user communications, technical upgrade projects, organizational improvement and other means;
-Coordinates major incidents as a Major Incident Manager when required to ensure timely resolution & closure;
- Utilises ITSM support tools to ensure efficiency of the technology support team in their work;
- Provides guidance to IFT Technology team members and partners on all IT Service management topics.
المهارات
6+ years’ experience in IT service management design and implementation covering processes, tooling, organization, governance and reporting, as well as:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in technology/science;
- Experience with Service Desk operations in a large enterprise or government environment;
- Enterprise customer-facing experience with strong oral and written communication skills, presenting to both large and small audiences;
- Strong leadership and time management skills;
- Professional services service management certification (ITIL);
- Experience in a busy 24x7 operational services or support environment;
- Technical qualifications such as MCSE, CCNP;
- Previous experience as a Technical Project Manager or Service Delivery Manager (SDM).
