Job Overview
The position takes full responsibility to carry out the functions of Marine Service Section.
Responsibilities
Supports the implementation and management of functions, policies, procedures, core values, goals, objectives, strategies, Value Score Card (VSC), business plans and budgets, key result areas (KRAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that the company meets its strategic goals and objectives; and, achieves highest level of performance contributing to the requirements of the Company in general;
Support and delivers the required activities of related revenue projects
Responsible for all processes and procedures
Monitor and evaluates the operational effectiveness, and administers changes for program improvement.
Provides recommendations for the improvement and continuous upgrading of survey procedures, ensuring that registration & licensing process are updated and congruent to prevailing local & international regulations and practices;
Exerts efforts to raise profile through continuous improvement and development of innovative delivery of services to its internal and external stakeholders.
Delivers effective and collegial working environment along with other Company employees, the external stakeholders, consultants, contractors, local and national government organizations, and international organizations alike.
Provides recommendations in the amendments of rules and regulations or any issues related to the improvement of maritime safety and environmental protection, ensuring their compliance to IMO regulations;

Essential Requirements
Holder of a Master’s Certificate of Competency from any IMO approved organization or Other Academic Qualifications
At least 6 years experience
Minimum 4 years experience with Maritime Administration or similar Maritime organization or 5 years experience on vessels engaged on international voyages
2+ years experience at Maritime, at Sea, Voyages and Ports
At least 2 years experience as Master aboard ocean-going vessels
Experience in conducting inspection on vessels engaged on international voyages as Port State Control (PSC) Inspector
Basic knowledge of all types of marine vessels
Knowledge in international marine transportation rules and regulations
Must have knowledge in International Maritime Organisation (IMO) codes, conventions and guidelines, and marine vessel safety and regulations
Public management, administrative supports, coordination with Government and semi-Government Organizations
Experience in identify any lapses or deficiencies in the craft inspections operation or which may constitute a hazard to the passengers
Experience in Coastal Navigation, Nautical Charts and Publication Vessel Inspection Standards, Government excellence, Environment Health and Safety, Program/ Project Management, Marine Craft, Maritime Safety, Report Writing, Analysis, and Confidentiality
Must be between 30 – 45 years old
Open to male Emirati nationals in UAE now
Salary/Compensation
Salary to be used as a guide only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance
Salary is between 21 – 28k AED per month base
Plus Education Allowance, Medical for self & family, and Air ticket for self & family
