Manages daily restaurant operations and assists with menu planning maintains sanitation standards and assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversea the dining area, supervises food and beverage service staff in accordance with
operating policies that he or she may help establish.
2. Works with food and beverage staff to ensure proper food presentation and proper food-handling procedures.
3. Handle guest complaints in restaurants.
4. Seeks, listens and responds to Guest feedback.
5. Coaches team on how to exceed Guest expectations.
6. Creates a positive team atmosphere among Team Members.
7. Treats all Team Members fairly, with respect.
8. Sets high standards for appropriate team behavior on shift.
9. Maintains records of staff periodic manner and operating costs. Maintain budget and employee records, prepare payroll, and pay bills, or monitor bookkeeping records.
10. Provides feedback and coaching to the Team regularly.
11. Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services.
12. Delegates and follow-up effectively.
13. Priorities tasks effectively to ensure most important tasks are completed on time.
14. Be energetic and have the ability to motivate staffs and improve performance
15. Perform other duties as assigned by management
المهارات
• Degree in hospitality business is an advantage
• Significant operational experience within F&B;or hospitality industry
• Experience in Fine Dining restaurant operations
• Strong knowledge in food safety and hygiene
• Creativity and thinking out of the box
• Commercial thinking
• Technical knowledge and understanding
• Experience in franchising operations
• Strong communication skills
Skills:
• Fluent in English & Arabic speaking and writing
• Other languages are an advantage
• Good financial understanding
• All MS office programs and POS software understanding,
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Lead by example and hands on
Experience:
• Min. 3-5 years of operational experience within the F&B;and hospitality environment in supervisory level
• Middle East experience
• Preopening experience is an advantage
• Training skills
Competencies:
• Ability to lead the team
• Leadership and communication skills
• Flexibility and creativity
• Ability to develop solutions for uncommon challenges
• Ability to represent the company’s/brands interests
