Our client is a well established global ERP Vendor. As a result of significant growth and winning a major new large and complex project, they are looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong ERP experience.
The focus of this role is to project manager a significant new erp implementation expected to run for three years.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
Management of a major ERP project
Support consultants by providing up to date project documents and providing clear direction for project issues and tasks
Manage project schedules, issues and budgets assisted by published PIM documents and other allocated tools
Provide Project Status Reports to the Professional Services Manager and the customer
Identify consulting, training and other opportunities with customers and negotiate or liaise with the Account Manager to secure and deliver the work.
Prepare customer feedback documentation on services, implementations, projects, etc
Attend project meetings and consulting group meetings as requested
المهارات
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
Minimum of 5-7 years senior project manager experience, delivering large and complex enterprise business software projects for local and global clients. Large projects in this context would be around 3 years of man-days of effort for the vendor project delivery. Complexity could be related to phased implementations, several business units involved, several geographical sites involved globally, etc.
Extensive experience in baselining projects and providing input to contractual and commercial documents.
Experience and good ability to evaluate project risk and be able to quantify risk from a commercial/financial aspect.
Experience in selling and delivering Safeguarding services to clients.
Good negotiation skills.
Strong abilities to establish proper project governance structure and project controls.
Ability to set up and manage project financial follow up including revenue recognition methods.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proven good leadership abilities.
Good knowledge in tolls like Excel, MS Project and other key planning and follow up tools.
Certified in one or more of the project management certification programs available (PMI, Prince2, IPMA, or similar).
Willingness and ability to travel.
