Senior Manager, Document Controller

The purpose of this role is to review the current status of the document control function to establish a baseline understanding. From there, the successful candidate will present their strategy and road map as to how they will lead the Document Control function to ensure that it delivers the requirements for Expo 2020 and its legacy as well as meeting industry best practises in relation to document management.
Main responsibilities for this role include:
- Undertake a strategic review of current document management at Expo 2020;
- Develop and deliver a strategy for how to take the document control function forward for Expo 2020 and its legacy;
- Identifying, implementing and managing software, processes, systems and resources for the Document Control function;
- Manage the day-to-day operations of document control, providing support to the team in order to achieve high performance standards;
- Operate data capture technology to import digitized documents into document management system;
- Propose recommendations for improving content management system capabilities;
- Document technical functions and specifications for new or proposed content management systems;
- Consult with end users regarding problems in accessing electronic content;
- Manage a small team of document controllers.
المهارات
8+ years of experience in a relevant field, as well as:
- A Bachelor’s degree;
- Industry qualified / certified within profession;
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial position;
- Resourceful and well organised;
- Planning, and methodical in approach;
- Strong communications skills;
- Demonstrable experience of IT software;
- Working knowledge of DMS Systems, particularly Aconex.
