Manager – IP Content and Programming

The purpose of the Manager – IP Content and Programming role is to support the development of programming for Expo 2020 thematic weeks and contribute to the development of the IP content masterplan.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Support the development and implementation of strategic direction, agenda and programmes feeding Expo’s seven thematic weeks;
- Support the development of internal tools, like templates, processes, procedures, risks management, budget and workforce planning;
- Support development of specific initiatives, including closed-door meetings, seminars, publications, videos, etc;
- Development of Expo’s seven thematic weeks, Climate, Urban Development and Cities, Travel & Exploration, Health and Wellness, Innovation, Women & Girls and Water;
- Structure and lead dialogue with other Expo departments to drive development of programmes for thematic weeks listed above;
- Assist in the development and management of IP content and programming potential from the Theme Statements and ongoing dialogue with the participating countries;
- Help to deliver selected IP deliverables (this might include publications, videos, and others).
المهارات
6+ years of experience (an ideal candidate will design and deliver programmes addressing global issues in the international development, CSR, or governmental context), as well as:
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferable within a relevant field;
- Programme development: experience in developing and implementing strategic direction, agendas, and specific programmes and managing partnerships related to the these programmes;
- Structured thinking: identifies gaps and overlapping elements; structure programmes/ideas/initiatives from scratch;
- Implementation: develops robust implementation plan for programmes/ideas/initiatives;
- Research: quickly identifies the right data sources; picks up relevant information, and synthesize complex and confounding information into simple insights;
- Reporting: produces succinct reports in PowerPoint and Word, including data visualizations; applies editing, proof-reading and finds relevant imagery.
