Assistant Manager - Commercial Underwriting

الوصف الوظيفي
• University Graduate. ACII Certified is preferable
• Minimum 6 years relevant experience in commercial lines underwriting in Dubai market
• Review and underwrite profitable new and renewal Commercial Lines business to meet LOB targets including negotiation of pricing, terms & condition within the delegated underwriting authority.
• Manage and grow the existing business portfolio and assure profitable growth.
• Driving the Renewal process for Property & Casualty business on a timely basis to retain business.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients Provide/manage/follow-up renewal invites to Intermediaries & Distribution teams.
• Accompany Sales team for client / broker meetings
• Negotiate with Distribution team/Intermediaries on new/renewal terms and follow up to ensure high retention rate.
• Monitoring of Loss Ratios through the understanding of claims details and implication to the policy terms and conditions
• Responsible for the accurate evaluation, selection and pricing decisions to ensure overall profitable renewal book of business within the established underwriting guidelines
• Support the branch team to achieve the objective new/renewal business profitable
• Liaison with distribution team by providing best service and quick responses
• Handling enquiries from intermediaries on various types of endorsements

• Good knowledge of the market to identify opportunities and foresee threats
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skills
