ASBIS is one of the leading distributors of Information and Communications Technology products and solutions in EMEA Emerging Markets. We are seeking a talented IT Product Line Sales Manager for our Middle East Team.
What you get to do in this role:
Attract SMB channel customers, e-tailers via B2B shops: Approach customers proactively to ensure that customers buy from our company on a regular basis
Effective customer management: Track and improve average invoice lines per SM
From customer KNOWLEDGE to customer SATISFACTION: Understand customer needs, update knowledge of customer profile, financial health and use CRM on to share the knowledge with other stakeholders of the company: marketing, credit, logistics, RMA, in order to develop regular sales on a win-win basis with the customer
Gross Profit from operations: Provide the required level of Gross Profit from a customer base
Ensure vendors’ targets align with the company sales revenue: With a goal to get maximum available sales rebates and performance bonus. Work with vendors to allocate a proper amount of products according to supply KPI. Promote and develop sales of the most profitable products from the vendor portfolio.
Sales revenue: Provide the required level of sales revenue to its customer base
Planning & Forecasting: Prepare and provide quarterly, monthly and weekly supply plans in line with expected sales and inventory targets. Efficiently manage backlog and orders to vendors. Actively review and adjust supply according to market and sales dynamics.
Analyze old stock: Plan & execute reduction of Old stock
Coordinate with the sales team: Make it transparent to the internal stakeholders (PLSM, PLM, SD) by registering sales opportunities
Manage the pipeline: Turn maximum % of sales leads to Sales Orders and real sales (complete the leads)
Keep up Win-Win relations with all stakeholders: Develop and keep up great relations with vendors at multiple levels to maximize benefits to the company on a win-win basis. Coordinate marketing programs aligning vendors’ vision and company targets. Support to protect company business and profit from over distribution
Become a trusted advisor to our community of customer
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
5+ years of IT-based sales experience within a related technology business environment.
Extensive track record of new business sales success including presentation and negotiation skills within the industry and at C Level
Strong strategic thinking including analytical and financial planning skills to meet and exceed quotas and goals
Ability to understand the ‘bigger picture’ and business drivers around IT
Ability to build long term strategic and senior level relationships
Ability to adapt and work effectively within a rapidly changing and growing environment
Strong business and financial acumen
Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related discipline preferred
Work in a Team Environment
Fluency in Spoken and Written English
