Job Description and Requirements CH2M have partnered up to form a joint venture that is leading all real estate and construction delivery related Programme Management services for a major exhibition. It will be the first time that such an exhibition will be hosted in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia Region and it is expected to be a significant catalyst for growth for business across wider region. Reporting to the Programme HSEQ Director, as the Manager for Worker Welfare you will be critical in implementing key goals in supporting and protecting the health, safety, welfare, security, rights, and the dignity of each worker on a major Programme. Ethical recruitment and employment practices, safe work practices, as well as safe and healthy living and working conditions are critical elements to the CH2M way of delivering work. Your role will be one of leadership, direction and guidance on a major construction Programme by supporting the development, deployment and implementation of the Worker Welfare program. In addition you will also be supporting various Consultant and Contractors to comply with Worker Welfare requirements through the development of processes, procedures, training, and control measures. As a successful candidate you will be degree qualified with at least 15 years professional experience with a recent 2 years in delivering Worker Welfare management or Employment Relations management on a major construction project. It is likely you will have come from either a HSE or HR background. You will be coming with the experience of coordinating multiple parties with the ability to facilitate meetings and mediate discussions with senior stake holders. You will possess excellent understanding of all Worker Welfare related topics as well as sound construction industry awareness |
