Data Analytics Engineer

Quest Search and Selection is partnering with a world-class technology company as they look for a Data Analytics Engineer to join their team in Dubai. We are ideally looking for someone who has extensive experience in generating data insights from digital marketing campaigns across online channels.

As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will:

- Use key insights from data gathered to recommend new digital marketing strategies
- Leverage from these insights to better manage budget and spending
- Be the main liaison with internal and external (e.g. agencies) for the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns
- Maintain data checks, monitor data tags, and identify new data sources that can enhance datasets
- Develop and maintain Big Query Data Lake via SQL, Query Optimization, ETL transformation, Data Modelling, etc.
- Generate regular campaign performance and metrics reports
- Manage a small team of data engineers at agencies

Desirable skills and background:

- Bachelor’s degree (MA preferred) in Data Engineering, Data Science or similar
- At least 5 years’ working experience in a similar role and capacity (manager level)
- Proficient in SQL, Database Designing, Data Infrastructure Management, Coding (Python), Google Analytics, Media Channels (e.g. DoubleClick, Paid Search, etc.),
- Excellent data visualization skills
- Strong project management, problem solving, and analytics skills
