As the Head of Data Management, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing end to end data governance frameworks whilst ensuring adherence to policies and standards across the organisation; developing strategies to improve the overall quality of protection of sensitive assets and data.

Description

* Develop, implement and maintain organisation wide data governance/data protection policies, standards and procedures.
* Identify privacy and data security risks and develop, initiate action plans to mitigate them.
* Identify and set organisation standards for good data whilst ensuring that all data sources meet or exceed these set requirements.
* Investigate data Governance incidents and initiate follow up actions such as root cause analysis, incident management methods etc. to prevent a repeat of such occurrences.
* Manage processes for data management within core data platforms, including data governance workflows.
* Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that they are well supported and informed of their data responsibilities.
* Ensure required data is available and accessible with in timescales.
* Contribute to the evaluation of alternative business processes and software to improve the data governance from a quality prospective.

Requirements
* At least 10 years of experience in a data governance role.
* Prior experience of implementing organisation-wide data governance frame works and data infrastructures
* Experience and knowledge of Data Quality, Data Security, Data Governance & Data classification models.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to data governance within the GCC.
* Prior experience with Data Governance tools like Collibra.
