Private Equity Manager

Job Description and Requirements
Private Equity Manager needed for a family office in Dubai, UAE

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics or real estate from a reputable university
MBA or Master’s degree with an emphasis in finance or economics is preferred.
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and / or Certified Public Accountant will be an advantage
7+ years of investment experience from an investment bank, asset management, private equity, family office or management consultancy firm
Experience in international markets (GCC/Lebanon)
Proven experience in managing people, programs and processes
Proficiency in MS Office required
Successful track record of locating, structuring, financing and managing investments
Superior understanding and proficiency of fixed income and equity investments
Knowledge of all type of investments and multiple market knowledge
Demonstrated ability to effectively delegate and to manage
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with good command of both English and Arabic, French is a plus
Ability to think laterally and adapt to changing circumstances in a dynamic environment
Job Description:

Oversee the investments of the company including real estate, fixed income, equity securities portfolios and to evaluate new opportunities
Manage consultants in making investment decisions for the portfolio and accurately reporting to the Chairman and the Boards
Initiate and coordinate the primary investing decisions in fulfilling the company’s investment objectives
Lead the investment strategy within the company
Write clear and well-informed investment recommendations based on thorough research and analysis
Coordinate efforts with other in-house and out-sourced financial professionals to minimize risk and maximize returns
Create, implement and coordinate a comprehensive company financial strategy
Organize regular investment reports and reviews, including quantitative and qualitative portfolio studies and remain up-to-date with any important valuation or policy changes
Manage partnerships with other investment companies
Coordinate and manage internal financial team
Manage and lead all financial related aspects of the company
