M&A;Manager

Background/experience:

• Chartered Accountant and/or MBA Finance
• Should have worked with Big 4 audit firms or reputed merchant bankers on global M&A;transactions and Greenfield projects
• Hands-on expertise in end-to-end M&A;process – identifying potential target companies, developing a business case for the acquisition, conducting due diligence, submitting bids, completing legal documentation, arranging financing through equity and loans, transfer of ownership and transaction conclusion
• Subject matter expert in business valuations
• Experience of conducting due diligence (financial, technical, commercial, tax and legal) – either self or through internal teams/external consultants
• Ability to examine legal agreements with a view to protecting IFFCO’s legal and commercial risks and provide critical comments to inhouse/external law firms
• Ability to optimally structure the transaction after due consideration of applicable tax and other statutory laws and financing options
• Ability to set-up businesses (through M&A;or Greenfield projects) in foreign countries after comprehensive understanding of key commercial, foreign investment, direct and indirect tax laws, labour laws and other applicable laws.

Soft skills:
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute the entire transaction from end-to-end within agreed timeline
• Work effectively with multi-cultural cross functional teams and external advisers across several geographies
