The Management Accountant role supports the Regional Finance Manager in delivering quality and timely monthly management accounts.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts for each of the businesses
Ensure related party balances are consistent between the entities
Posting of day to Day entries into Oracle GL in accordance with Accounting Policy & into the appropriate Corporate entities
Prepare and post journals as necessary
Posting of FY ending (currently in MS Excel) into Oracle ERP
Testing system
Maintain corporate docs for all entities
Create and maintain board resolutions for all corporate changes eg. Bank mandates
Adding / taking out Directors and getting ROD’s (Register of Directors) updated
Modifying structure and getting ROM’s (Register of Members) updated
KYC and data gathering
Updating bank mandates as per each bank’s process
Receive and store invoices, create suppliers in online bank systems, create payments, notify approvers, track payments and get confirmation of payments from key suppliers
Back - office support for coordination or documentation required for bank transfers
Processing employee expenses
Work closely with auditors
Provide information including corporate documents, bank statements, previous audit reports, invoices
Explain nature of each transaction
Project cost calculations
Ensure invoices/payments are in line with contracted services and rates
Complete financials for quarterly GP reports
The Candidate
Chartered accountant or studying towards qualification; degree, preferably in a financial discipline; regional experience; attention to detail; can work under pressure and to tight deadlines; problem solver
