Our client are a leading Engineering organisation with a presence in the region primarily supporting the Aviation sector who are looking for an Airport Operations Excellence Expert for their Dubai office.You will be responsible for:
Perform assessment, which involves analysing and identifying quality levels, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business
Perform evaluation and audit, which involves comparing estimated levels with criteria established by the organisation such as costs, legal requirements and environmental factors, and evaluating the Organisation’s previous handling of control situation
Ensure compliance of all concerned with the strategies, policies, guidelines and strategic initiatives
Identify areas of improvement in the strategic performance of the Airport
Develop in co-ordination with all concerned the necessary strategic performance enhancement programs to boost the ranking of Dubai Airport and its competitiveness
Carryout the necessary activities to determine the strategic performance gap including benchmarking, surveys, analytics, risk management studies, audit, etc.
Produce periodical technical report on the utilization of assets and resources in Dubai and identify current or potential volubility of the same
Assess the current level of co-ordination and joint decision-making practices and ways to optimise it
Assess the major systems of Dubai and produce a status report for each

Able to provide intellectual leadership in their area or team and makes themselves available to staff for development
Able to work with a large volume of information & make decisions on unexpected problems, which could have a significant impact
Able to identify significant cost benefit items and lead on implementing current best practice options
Able to maintain and improve service by managing risks to ensure own area delivers against defined outcomes
Strong organisational, analytical and time management skills, with very good attention to detail
Key Requirements
B.Sc. in Engineering, Business Administration from an accredited University / Institute
A Master’s Degree in a related discipline is preferred
Relevant Qualifications / Certifications in Aviation performance is desired
7 years or more of experience working post qualification in Aviation
Proven track record of taking on increasingly responsible Management positions including at least 4 years in an equivalent leadership position in a leading International Airport
