Lead, direct and administer skilled workers engaged in welding activities onboard and workshop
Ensure all necessary plant and welding equipment are maintained in a current operable and calibrated condition
Ensure consumable control requirements are closely followed and workers are properly supplied with tools, equipment and materials
Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
المهارات
POSITION: WELDING FOREMAN
SALARY: up to 2,450 AED as basic depending on qualification and experience plus housing and transport allowance of 1,800 AED and additional allowance of 150 AED and overtime pay
HIRING COMPANY: Leading Marine and Offshore Services
WORK LOCATION: Dubai, UAE
AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately (max 1-month)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Open to ANY nationality
Male, below 40 years old only
Overseas candidates are welcome to apply
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Diploma in Engineering or any related course
Minimum 3 years of working experience in the Marine or Ship Building industry
Any Trade Apprentice course, Offshore or Oil and Gas training is an advantage
Knowledge and Experience in ship repair and new building yard
Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation
Thorough knowledge in various types steel works, steel structures and welding procedure specifications
Ability to handle 10 to 15 Welders under his supervision
Excellent communication skills
