Job Description: - You design and redesign valves in 2D and 3D (and rendering), according to the client’s requirements.
- You are also responsible for conceptual development, product design, and tool development.
- Basically, you will be integrated into the complete product development.
- You design pneumatic & electric diagrams for valve controls.
- You create production drawings for laser, bending, and welding. According to these drawings, you design the files for in-house and outsourcing production, workshop documentation and Bill of Materials.
- Keeping documentation of existing products up-to-date is also one of your tasks.
- You prepare documentation and technical files.
- You prepare welding plans. - You transfer the drawings and models of existing products into EPDM with an update of the required information for data cards - that’s why we need extensive knowledge and experience with Solidworks.
- You set up the IOM Instruction (Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Manual), the Bill of Material with spare part list, preparation of supporting and user documentation.
- For marketing purposes (web, presentations and other applications), you design the rendering of the models.
المهارات
You are a technical match when: - You are a mechanical designer by education and you are in possession of a bachelor’s degree.
- You understand FEA analyse results.
- Your experience exists within Solidworks. You have a minimum of 3 years of experience with Solidworks.
- Experience with DriveWorks is a plus.
- You know very well how to consult and prepare documentation and technical files. 
- You have experience with the design of valves in Solidworks.
- You know how to build a model with equations.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of work experience.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and electric diagrams.
- You have sufficient understanding and insight into what happens in the workplace and how welders work.
- When drawing, you take into account the production habits of the manufacturing process.
- You have sufficient material knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic and electricity.
- Detailed knowledge of the equipment, materials, and supplies used in the shipping industry.
