Job Description and Requirements
The Transition Program Manager will be required to lead and oversee the visual, linguistic, and technical quality of the project, while ensuring that all tasks remain within budget and timeframe. The primary role is to help drive the identification, planning and execution of improvements initiatives.
Principal Responsibilities
Provide industry and functional expertise and insight to guide and advise the key stakeholders. Use ability to support the business to roll out programs, achieve metrics and track milestones. Inspire and influence key stakeholders to drive changes to ensure projects meet time, cost and quality objectives. Leads cross function teams (IT, finance, materials management, engineering, quality, ISC, etc.) to create detailed project plans, followed by leading the project execution for substantial transitions of Honeywell manufacturing and Distribution sites worldwide. Transitions include relocating Honeywell factories and distribution centres, establishing new ‘greenfield’ locations, consolidating existing footprint, relocating product lines, and insourcing from the supply base into Honeywell. Projects may be generated from company acquisitions, divestures, and/or consolidation opportunities. Key success criteria include meeting / exceeding project schedules, meeting internal and external customer metrics, and meeting budget plans.
Project Management: Project Planning and Execution: Accountable to senior leadership that championed the project and to meet the financial targets and project schedulesLeadership Communication: Responsible for timely leadership communication with functional leaders, status presentations, and in person presentations to the SPS Leadership Team. These communications include taking responsibility for the success of the project, identifying help needed, and creating confidence during difficult projectsUtilize standard project management tools (STP / Six Sigma / HOS) to review the feasibility and justification of identified initiativesCollate and maintain necessary information, data, process maps and other related documentation to support strategic and tactical decision making Establish effective working relationships with business stakeholders and functions to understand requirements for successful strategy deploymentUtilize standard work with Functional Teams to ensure functional lead projects are aligned with GBE objectivesDevelop robust business cases to present to business leadership to gain necessary resource allocation, focus and prioritization to execute effectively represent the GBE as appropriate in project review meetings.Implement a clear MOS to support effective deployment and communication of project progress and escalation to GBE / Transformation Leaders Facilitate project meetings & coordinate project RAIL’s, follow up tasks & communications to ensure functional owners are accountable for project deliverablesTactical task execution in support of assigned projects, including collation of financial / statistical / business information to support decision makingMaintain consistent project metrics dashboard to measure adherence to project timelines and deliverables. YOU MUST HAVE
University degree in business administration OR commercial/technical education with additional higher diploma in business administration.

Strong Excel and PowerPoint experience to create effective project documentations.
Excellent English, written and spoken communication skills (phone, email).
Work Experience Required (area and length of experience).
University degree in business administration OR commercial/technical education with additional higher diploma in business administration.
Sound knowledge of ISC Processes.
Confident user of MS Office packages including Excel, SAP or other ERP System knowledge.
Use of Six Sigma / Lean Management / HOS in the work place.
