We have an exciting client-side position for a Director - Building and Facilities Engineering to be part of a large railway organisation in the UAE. The candidate placed in this position will be responsible for the design management of the freight operation and maintenance facilities within the program.
· Manage and coordinate the Design of all Railway Facility layouts, Buildings, Architecture etc.
· Participate in the tendering process and review technical documents
· Liaise with key stakeholders to form conceptual designs, in line with client’s expectations
· Manage and supervise the team to ensure that they comply with all requirements and standards specified in the Contract documents
· Help to define standards and technical assurance policies. Ensure the development of civil/structural design and systems to produce the rail network
· Assist the Delivery and Project manager to ensure adequate project governance is maintained throughout the project cycle
· Monitor the supervision, quality control, testing and commissioning of the project related to Freight, Depots and O&M;Facilities in the Project
· Review the design, oversight and the technical construction support to ensure safety and risk measures are managed correctly.
المهارات
· BSc Civil engineering required
· Minimum 15 years’ post graduate experience
· Strong experience in Design and Design Management of Railway Facilities
· Experience within the GCC is preferred
