Senior Information Technology Manager

We are looking to hire an excellent Senior Information Technology Manager who will be responsible for setting overall strategy for IT within the Organisation, implement and maintain computer systems and applications to meet management needs of the organisation as well as manage and control MIS personnel; defines project teams. This position is responsible for data security and recovery; participates in development of targets and budgets and is responsible for expenses control.  Main Tasks of the Role To construct, develop and implement a cost-effective IT Strategy to meet the current and future needs of businesses. To proactively identify and propose changes/additions to enhance IT capability and functionality in support of strategic business aims and requirements. To proactively seek and pursue opportunities to enhance performance and reduce costs through the automation or processes. To respond positively and promptly to requests for ad-hoc IT projects to support business initiatives and system/functionality developments. To develop, implement and maintain an effective ‘disaster recovery plan’ to support business continuity. To select, direct, develop and motivate managers and staff within IT to deliver the highest levels of performance, further build capabilities and deliver a highly professional service to meet internal customer expectations. Manage the department’s budgets, personnel and assets. Lead and control IT initiatives. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager. Give solutions/ consultancy to business units related to development, integration, security, and communication. Not only delegate tasks, but also execute, implement, test, and train users on different systems/solutions. Give solutions/ideas related to design, process change, enhancements to different business sectors including software development, financial services, physical security, insurance, automotive, and embedded systems. Perform business analysis, requirement gathering, propose process design, direct and instruct developers. Monitor and evaluate IT team performance, setting up KPIs for the team and monitor it. 
المهارات
Required Knowledge and Skills: Professional: BSc in Electronics and communication Engineering / Computer Science.  Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, management, interpersonal and financial skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic is a plus.
Self learner, ability to aCquire knowledge and new technologies whenever needed to solve technical issues and direct IT team.  Hard Skills: Cloud services, VOIP, TCP/IP, VPN, Database basic knowledge, MySQL basic knowledge, PHP, WordPress, LAMP and open source knowledge, Windows OS full knowledge, Ability to configure and use Linux, understands and use Virtualization, web hosting and configuration.
Enterprise wide solution, and business process improvement knowledge.
Requirements: Essential Experience Minimum 10 years of progressive excellence in the IT field, 5 years experience in a management role with similar scope and responsibilities.
Experience in leading a team of IT professionals in small to medium-sized organisation.
Proven excellence in project management.
Gulf Experience is a plus.
