Atelier Coordinator

The main responsibilities for this role include:

- Liaise directly with the appointed Costume supervisor for Expo Opera providing logistical and creative support; - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for the Legacy; - Coordinate on the long term strategic planning for Atelier 2020; - Oversee the completion of all costume elements assigned to Atelier 2020 as per the designs of the appointed Expo Costume supervisor; - Determine and maintain a costume production quality of the highest standard; - Oversee the completion/ and or build of all costume elements assigned to Atelier 2020 as per the designs of the appointed Expo Costume supervisor; - Assist in recruiting freelance wardrobe assistants and dressers when required;
المهارات
2+ years of experience working in a similar position preferrably in an Opera House or Theatreas well as;
- A Bachelor’s Degree within a relevant field;
- Experience working within a Theatre costume atelier;
- Significant experience of working within a professional Theatre;
- Solid experience liaising with Opera directors, designers and artists;
- Solid industry knowledge of theatrical costume, make- up and wig design;
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines with a calm and practical approach;
- Working knowledge of costume and fashion history including costume manufacturing history.
