Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description and Requirements
Sr. Electrical Design Engineer should be responsible for master planning projects and feasibility studies for major developments, design electrical networks and telecommunication networks for projects including High Voltage (HV), Mid Voltage (MV) & Low Voltage (LV), single line diagrams (SLD), Harmonic studies, electrical modeling for HV networks, designing street lighting network including carrying out study for the uniformity and thresholding studies, designing feature lighting network, designing telecommunication networks, BMS & CCTV networks & spare ducts.

The responsibilities include attending project meetings with clients, project managers, contractors, sub-consultant, and local authorities during various stages of projects. Should be conversant with local authority’s methodology, standards, regulation & requirement in MENA region including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and International for the electrical power and telecommunication requirement for all types of projects, expertise in resolving the power issues such as substations, cable routing, HV&LV;design, and MoU issues related to network.

The position demands critical decision making related to projects, preparing proposals and technical reports, assigning work to junior engineers & CAD technicians, preparation and giving a presentation, monitoring work and reviewing the deliverables.

Qualifications:
Qualifications and Experience

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. A Master Degree will be an added advantage.

Experience

A minimum of ten years of experience in a similar field with proven track records in various projects.
