The Manager - Ticketing Implementation is responsible for the project management of the implementation and mobilization of Expo’s ticketing and access control solution from a business requirements perspective. This person will collaborate with the IFT Ticketing Project Manager to guide the Ticketing system implementation project focusing on the applications functionality and key integrations for all sales (B2C, B2B and B2B2C through a world-wide reseller network) and onsite event-time access control. This key role will be vitally important to assure Expo’s success in leveraging technology to facilitate a positive visitor experience, support the commercial drive to achieve its visitor goals and provide for smooth internal operations. The main responsibilities for this role include: - Plan and roll-out the Ticketing/Commercial business requirements for required B2C, B2B and B2B2C sales channels and site-wide access control as will be implemented in Expo’s IT systems and procedures; - Manage relationships with resellers and Expo partners in relation to systems implementation; - Find solutions to support the commercial sales network development; - Support the implementation and configuration of the Expo ticketing platform from a business requirements driven perspective for ticket sales, access control, pavilion Smart Queuing and integrated visitor services; - Facilitate the creation of Standard Operating Procedures for all areas of the Ticketing/Commercial business to assist in the clear definition of processes for the commercial sales team, finance, operations and visitor services; - Provide support and direction to Expo’s Technology team for integration with resellers and partners throughout the implementation project; - Support the system evolution, implementation and testing for all sales channels including B2C, B2B, via web and at physical sales points; - Liaise with the Ticketing Technology Service Provider to assist in the provision of solutions to facilitate Expo requirements.
المهارات
6+ years in ticketing and access control project management and ticket sales roles for large scale international events, leisure or sport venues and/or cultural attractions;
- A Bachelor’s Degree within a relevant field;
- Expertise in ticketing technology solutions including demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development and launch;
- Proven track record in implementing business requirements and procedures through system use and vice-versa;
- Supplier relationship management skills;
- Professionalism and diplomacy;
- Initiative, creativity and responsibility in finding solutions to problem;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Detail oriented and tenacious, with high attention to quality.
