The purpose of the role of a Head of Marketing Operations is to ensure the development of integrated marketing plans across channels, effective deployment and monitoring of Expo 2020 brand by overseeing all relevant campaigns, content marketing and activation efforts targeting the various stakeholders and audiences. The position will ultimately be responsible for delivering visitors to Expo 2020 in line with commitments to attract international and domestic attendees – by increasing the awareness and enabling consideration for Dubai and the Expo as the destination and event of choice in 2020/21. The main responsibilites of the role include: - Support the strategic efforts to build brand awareness with the mandate to deliver 25 million visits to the event to be held from Oct 2020-April 2021; - Define strategic plans and detail the operational marketing delivery program related to the fulfillment of all Expo related ATL and BTL marketing activities including managing the end-to-end delivery; - Handle tactical marketing operations across stakeholder groups (ATL, BTL and TTL) through management of outsourced suppliers, agency partners and creative content developers; - Review and approve MarComms briefs from other departments and project manage all marketing operation briefs by working with the virtual team for each project; - Support and help cascade guidelines for alignment and consistent messaging, to regulate brand deployment across external marketing-communications from public and private stakeholder establishments within the Emirate and the wider GCC region; - Building partnerships with the Emirate’s tourism related entities, key travel trade stakeholders to attract leisure and business visitors to the Emirate; - Lead the Marketing Operations Team responsibly and proficiently, providing effective line management to direct reports and set objectives and evaluate performance of individual direct reports and actively manage key personnel issues; - Provide visible leadership to the division and across the organization to key stakeholders.
المهارات
11+ years of experience in Marketing, Branding or Advertisement, extensive experience and proven track record in marketing and branding activities, as well as:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Marketing or Advertisement;
- Dynamic, alert and maintain good relationships with the clients, suppliers, industry leaders;
- Project management, self-initiating and group co-operative;
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills; Strong organizational skills and leadership ability;
- Innovative, adaptable, enthusiastic, detail-oriented;
- Proficiency in English and Arabic.
