Assistant Manager - Technology Assets

Responsible for management of Technology equipment assets in preparation for the Expo event, during the exposition and ensuring the proper disposal or transfer of assets after the event as well as ensuring proper storage conditions are met, proper asset tracking and security is maintained. Responsible for asset tagging, participating in assets audits and inspections. Main responsibilities for this role include: - Support the installation, setup and commissioning of an asset management system; - Tagging of accepted incoming assets and registering them on the asset management system; - Track and monitor that materials and equipment delivered to site or between storage locations are checked and verified for correct quality, quantity and type ordered; - Stock taking of inventory on regular basis to reconcile physical quantity and ERP system quantity; - Develop a process for network equipment asset management utilizing different tools; - Ensure all of the data is entered in the system during the life of the equipment; - Prepare management reports upon request; - Coordinate with internal and external auditors for inventory related matters; - Implement security measures to safeguard Expo assets.
المهارات
4+ years’ experience in a similar role, as well as;
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computing or Engineering field;
- Demonstrate strong planning and organization skills;
- Have good knowledge of asset management policies and procedures;
- Knowledge of Expo procedures will be an added advantage;
- Works well in a team;
- Adaptability and flexibility;
- Effective communication skills.
