Dark Stores at Delivery Hero MENA consists of a grocery service focusing on convenience and affordability. The aim is to build a team of intelligent and driven people from all around the world who work closely together with our entities to disrupt the local market. This team is responsible for acting as a catalyst for new verticals of Delivery Hero and in ensuring their success, further rollout, and solidification of our continued success.
What’s on your plate?
Build up and maintain a close relationship with internal customers to ensure that business needs are taken into consideration in developing People Operations initiatives and standards; ensure procedures are fully understood and implemented in support area.
Provide coaching to employees and management; articulate and present People Operations concepts and tools to groups of employees, encouraging and supporting an employee-oriented high-performance culture.
Take ownership for initiatives and projects as assigned based on organisational needs for area of responsibility.
Recommend, implement and update guidelines and policies in order to ensure relevant People Operations services and consistent standards of employment.
Challenge current processes (policies, structure, etc.) and status quo; think outside of the box in terms of solutions; proactively contact regional People Operations teams for advice and solutions that are aligned with
the team across regions.
Work closely with Management in structuring and developing their respective teams and support agreed action plans.
Manage recruitment process of all positions within area of responsibility in alignment with Talent Acquisition Teams and Line Manager conducting interviews, negotiating contracts and ensuring a smooth transition for
new employees according to defined standards.
Managing mobility of new international hires in alignment with Rewards team
Manage personnel planning, salary reviews and promotions/salary adjustments for defined areas in accordance with company processes and in close partnership with the Rewards team and the line managers.
Drive the implementation of talent development tools and concepts as guided by the Talent Development team
Ensure proper updates of Workday modules and preparation of reports (e.g. Org Mgt, attrition,) and HR reports (open positions, entry/exit, etc) on a regular basis.

Requisite Education and Experience:
University degree or equivalent (preferably main subject Personnel Management)
Minimum of 5 years progressive work experience in the generalist field of HR. Last 2 years minimum on Managerial Level.
Multiple project handling experience
English fluent (written and oral)
MS-Office skills, Workday experience is a plus
