Project Director required for a Real Estate Project

CPIC a leading London based real estate developer are embarking on a mega resort style mixed-use community in Islamabad, Pakistan and are looking for an experienced Project Director to head up the development team. The master plan will be a first of it’s kind in the country and will entail over 1200 villas and 1000 apartments, 5* hotel, indoor and outdoor shopping malls, dancing fountains, horse riding club, hiking trails to name a few. We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Director to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. PD will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent Construction Project Director must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed.
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Working in a client facing role, guiding our fee proposal, developing the clients’ strategy and Establishing and managing a high performing team that strives for quality, safety, cost and schedule improvements at every opportunity with all delivery partners, challenging and seeking to improve the project deliverables.
Managing the project budget and resource allocation
Ensuring the quality assurance of the projects.
Monitoring and reporting on progress of the project to the client and all stakeholders.
Communicating effectively the project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
Determining the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, evaluating results and troubleshoot problem areas.
Building, developing and cultivating any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
BSc in civil engineering with 25 years experience.
Experience of at least 10 years as as construction project manager.
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
Good knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with construction/ project management software
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with leadership abilities
Excellent communication skills in English and Urdu
Expert knowledge of design, procurement and Construction cycle including sequencing, means and methods.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Experience: Construction Project Manager: 10 years (Required)
