The Senior Manager Protocol Flags & Anthems will develop all the flags and anthem strategies and requirements to support VVIP and VIP client guest group requirements prior to and during the Expo 2020 Dubai. The main responsiblities of the role include: - Develop all policies, procedures and guidelines for expo2020 flag and anthem requirements including guides, manuals, Official Participant sign-off and logistical requirements; - Oversee and lead Expo 2020 Flag procurement and anthem process; - Organization and coordination of official flag & anthem requirements during National Day ceremonies and visits of VVIP dignitaries and other protocol guest group participants; - Coordination and advisory services for Expo 2020 Dubai leadership in respect of ceremonial and protocol flag and anthem related matter; - Provide flag and anthem support, coordination, advice and assistance to relevant governmental organisations in respect of visits by VVIP, VIP and other protocol guest group categories; - Set objectives and evaluate performance of individual direct reports and actively manage key personnel issues; - Ensure that all staff acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate learning and development programs; - Embed culture and vision Expo2020 by role-modelling organizational behaviors through performance management, feedback and coaching.
المهارات
8+ years of experience in similar level protocol organizational and major event roles, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as:
- A Bachelor’s degree within the relevant field;
- Relevant diplomatic, management & operational capabilities. Approachable, active listening skills and encourages growth and team work with the department and organization;
- Confident, capable collaborative manager, with exceptional attention to detail and time management;
- Project management, financial and planning management skills.
