The Senior Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible to perform under limited supervision performs advanced tasks pertaining to the accounts payable function, requiring use of initiative and judgment. The Senior Accountant Accounts Payable is responsible for ensuring all related Accounts Payable tasks are completed accurately, efficiently and within the timeline given by management. This includes invoice entry and Payments to the suppliers. The Senior Accountant may be given a specific process or area to coordinate. The main responsibilities of this role include:  - Review initial invoice entry, categorization, and three-way match. Ensures that all invoices and payments are properly coded and approved. Reviews accounts payable voucher reports for accuracy. Ensures payments are made timely; - Oversees internal and external inquiries on the status of accounts payable invoices. Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of purchase orders and invoices, both large and small; - Respond to vendor inquiries and troubleshoot issues with and vendors; - Proactively manage vendor statement reconciliations and aging report; - Manage AP Team mailbox; - Support cash management policies by maintaining an up-to-date and accurate AP aging; - Participate in organizing and processing the closures of large projects for our main suppliers; - Prepare month end schedules before the AP Closing and ensure successful month end close processes are completed; - Monitor and report department Key Performance Indicators to all stakeholders; - Assist in PO closing / identify the GR/IR variances. 
المهارات
2+years’ experience in Accounts Payable in a senior accountant position;
- A Bachelors Degree within a relevant field;
- SAP Experience;
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel & Word;
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Attention to detail essential.
