Senior Director, Financial Reporting & Compliance

الوصف الوظيفي
• Liaison with senior executives in the organisation in developing cross functional policies/processes and provide financial advisory support to enhance financial controls and compliance.
• Producing reports and presentations to management to
communicate financial numbers and areas of
controls improvements where applicable.
• Provide support and input to the Financial Planning team
for timely and effective reporting.
• Providing training and development programs to the financial reporting and finance operations team to facilitate effective team work.
• Prepare board papers for policy changes, accounting standards implementation, etc. 
• Coordinate the Company’s annual audit with the independent/external auditors, tracks all internal audit and compliance team review points for timely closure, including State Audit team.

المهارات
Requirements: • Strong communication and people skills.
• Must have Bachelor Degree in Finance or in other related field.
• 15 years of core Accounting work experience .
• 5-10 years in the Telecoms industry.
• 3-5 years of experience in Audit firms (Big 4 audit firms).
• Fully qualified/Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Minimum 7 years post CA experience.
• Manage the preparation and distribution of the quarterly and
annual financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest
quality, reliability and accuracy.
• Manage the monthly closing process.
• Producing reports and presentations to management to
communicate financial numbers and areas of controls improvements where applicable. • Proven experience in managing information systems, particularly ERP systems (Oracle or SAP).  • Knowledge of corporate compliance and regulatory requirements,new pronouncements in accounting (IFRS) and local regulatory environment (law). • Advanced financial analysis skills. • In-depth and expert knowledge of statutory and internal financial management standards and best practices.
