Situ Machinist

Responsibilities
Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
Select appropriate machines and position or load material for a job
Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine etc.
Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues
Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages
Ensure that measuring equipment and lifting equipment are inspected and validated for use
Machinist is required to ensure that a healthy and sound working relationship exists
Any other tasks that may give by the supervisor/manager
المهارات
Desired Candidate :
Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
Ability to read and interpret manuals, exploded view diagrams, engineering sketches, charts, and work orders.Accurately maintaining all required records related to job and Department.
3-4 years’ minimum experience in In Situ machining job also prefer
1-2years previous experience in any conventional machining.Higher secondary /ITI /technical diploma or equivalentSailing experience / works on vessels added as an advantage
Must have basic operating experience in workshop machines (lathe, milling, drilling. Etc.)
Understanding of limits and fits and ability to machine to dead toleranc
Ability to carry out non-destructive tests, alignment test etc.Basic knowledge of surface finish tests.
