Taylor Sterling is looking for an experienced Senior Facade Engineer to join a global engineering consultancy based in Dubai.
Client is involved in iconic building, energy and O&G;projects globally.
Successful candidate will have a good understanding of the fundamental principles of Facade Design & Engineering.
You will need to be presentable, client facing and experience working with a technical consultancy.
Profile:
Project Engineer, capable of running a small to medium size project with a team of 2 designers with minimal supervision
Meeting client representatives, architects, contractors etc. and discuss project related technical issues
Carry out facade engineering analysis related tasks, mainly structural engineering
Handling geometrically and technically complex building facades
Build 3D parametric models using rhino-Grasshopper and be able to transfer those into engineering analysis software
المهارات
Requirements:
BSc/MSc Structural/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
Minimum 5-years’ experience in the Facades industry – consultancy experience
Good command of English (spoken and written)
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office – Especially Excel
STAAD Pro/SolidWorks/SJ MEPLA
Rhino-Grasshopper
Other engineering analysis software related to FEA, CFD, and thermal calculations is a plus
