This role is integral to the development and delivery of the organisation\’s regional communications strategy in India, the Middle East and Africa
You will have the opportunity to play an important role in building favourability and recognition on behalf of businesses among key business and government audiences across India, the Middle East and North Africa
WHAT’S THE ROLE ABOUT?
Strategy and planning
Work with the team to bring to life our marketing and communications strategy, in ways that build and improve the reputation of our businesses among key business and government audiences across India, the Middle East and North Africa
Ensure joined up planning and delivery of internal and external communications campaigns and activities in the region, to achieve improved consistency, quality and impact of our communications across channels and audiences on
Work closely with the Regional Marketing and Communications and Events Manager\’s across all aspects of integrated communications, including media relations, stakeholder engagement, industry events, influencer engagement and management, web and social media content development, internal communications and other required communications support.
Media and agency relations
Leads and manages regional media relations activities and oversees approach taken by country teams
Support with on-boarding and management of agencies and act as day-to-day contact person for external agencies, including marketing and communications agencies, videography/photography and design
Content creation
Commission, develop and disseminate communications content across a wide variety of channels on behalf of the organisation in partnership with the Regional Marketing and
Communications Manager and supporting agencies
Apply advanced communications expertise and insight when supporting our regional offices in the development of their communications and events, working closely with the creative hub and communications teams in Head Office and other government agencies and partners
Work the development of communications collateral specific to the region, and conduct regular audits of relevance and impact of collateral
Distills complex concepts and analysis into cogent and persuasive communications materials for B2B and B2G audiences
And relationships are key to this role to
Develop effective and collaborative working relationships with your key stakeholders (e.g. suppliers in the region).
Relate well to all kinds of people – up, down, and sideways, inside and outside the organisation; build appropriate rapport; build constructive and effective relationships; use diplomacy and tact; can diffuse even high-tension situations comfortably.

Success in this role means:
Using your expertise in strategic communications to support the achievement of our regional objectives relating to export growth, increasing deal value and supporting the international growth of our clients in IMEA
Helping teams engage with and understand the marketing and communications function in ways that enhance and develop their business activities and support the entry, growth and expansion of businesses into the IMEA region.
Developing and achieving measurable communications objectives that clearly demonstrate the contribution of our communications and PR activity to the regional business objectives
Positive feedback from your key internal and external stakeholders about quality of advice and delivery of service, with all offices in the region feeling as though the regional team is delivering communications support to their agreed expectations.

Extras – 5+ years’ experience working in a marketing and/or marketing communications environment and/or has a relevant qualification (such as in marketing, communications or related discipline).
