The Company

A highly reputable consultancy business operating in the engineering and construction industry are recruiting for a Head of Finance, Middle East to manage their regional operations based from Dubai.

The Role

This is an exciting, unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth of an international consultancy business. As the Head of Finance, Middle East you will drive the commercial performance of the business and your responsibilities will include:
Acting as a key business partner to the MD and senior leadership team, driving strategy and tactical plans.
Control of all commercial aspects of projects including: bids, operational controls, cash, credit and risk management.
Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, overseeing the preparation of financial reporting packs and controls, control if finance systems, budgets, forecasts and monthly MI
Acting as the primary contact with banks and have full control of all business cash transactions
Taxation and compliance with local requirements

The Person

As the Head of Finance, Middle East for an established international engineering consultancy business, you must meet the following requirements:

Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience, including at least 3 years’ in a similar level of responsibility. Regional experience in the UAE and KSA is essential
Experienced in a project based environment, ideally in a professional services, engineering consultancy or construction industry
Be resilient with excellent communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships with teams across the world.
Have strong business acumen where you can demonstrate proactive commercial control over a wide range of situations
