A huge Food & Beverages business ($4 billion T/O) in the region is currently headhunting for a Regional Director to manage multiple well known F&B;brands across 10 countries, being fully responsible for a sales revenue of +$260m.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Achieves maximum profitability, positive customer experiences and retention and overall success by controlling costs, quality of service and efficiency of delivery.
Setting the budgets for marketing across all countries
Provides competitive analysis every three months; analysis of F&B;offerings, prices, service and quality in relation to local competition
Provides diverse (financial) data and input in preparation of forecast, budget control, payroll output, inventory and procurement, etcetera
Enforces performance standards, policies and procedures as they relate to Venue operations, monitors Food Server service on the dining floor.
Ensures smooth and efficient operations on a continual basis.
Ensures compliance with all health and safety standards/regulations as well as all applicable beverage and food laws/ordinances.
Owns and drives the menu planning and pricing.
Controls inventory and equipment.
Follows proper purchasing and requisitioning procedures.
Rostering; timely schedule staff as necessary to ensure adequate and consistent levels of service, balanced with staff needs and wishes
Develops and maintains the complete F&B;control procedures, manuals, security measures, health and safety controls and supervision standards.
Recruits, selects and hires the best staff. Monitors performance and manages all F&B;staff pro-actively, drives a positive staff attitude and appearance, fosters energetic teamwork/relations with co-workers and management, sets-up and drives training programs, implements and actively promotes a customer focused meritocracy system.
