Operations Manager - Facilities & Services

The purpose of the role of Manager – Operations, Facilities and Services is to support on the implementation of all event time operational planning, and the event time operational management of the support spaces to the performance venues, including the Production & Delivery (PDY) Main Production Compound, the 2x Satellite Compounds, the artist welfare areas within the Multilateral Buildings in the three Districts, and the dedicated BOH spaces supporting the three large performance venues.

The main responsibilities for this role include:

- Work with the Senior Manager – Operations, Facilities and Services to ensure the coordinated delivery of all support venues across the Expo 2020 Site, including driving the completion of design, resourcing, planning, procurement, scheduling, and project management;

- Assist in developing and implementing the operational strategy, systems and models and plans for each support venue, as well as planning of in house and external resources, spaces, assets;

- Assist in ensuring all performance support venues are delivered functionally, with all design and technical aspects coordinated, all systems tested and commissioned, and all venues operationally resourced and staff trained;

- Support the Senior Manager – Operations, Facilities and Services across activities such as planning and delivery of service levels, resources, key milestones, risks, projects, actions and issues;

- Work with the PDY main contractor to implement the operational plans and systems ensuring the function is adequately resourced and staff and volunteers are suitably experienced and trained;

- Assist the Manager – Operations, Facilities and Services in developing a robust network of third-party vendors that would serve as service providers for services not covered by Expo 2020 internal teams;

- Assist in the definition of the guest journey to ensure a seamless experience for all artist and crew that will be processed through the Main Production Compound and other support spaces in their delivery of scheduled performances during the event.

المهارات
6+ years of experience working in a similar position preferably in production delivery and operation of visitor attractions, theaters, event venues, music and live venue show production as well as;

- A Bachelor’s Degree within a relevant field;

- Excellent person and team management;

- Ability to multi-task and process information efficiently;

- Strong interpersonal skills;

- Ability to communicate clearly and delegate project.
