Senior Manager - Facility Management – District 2020

The role of the Senior Manager - Facilities Management is to provide supervision and coordination with the team of Expo 2020 Dubai to ensure all aspects of facilities management are maintained (i.e. Health and Safety, MEP and HVAC).

The main responsibilities for this role include:

- Develop and implement efficient and comprehensive hard and soft facilities management strategy (reactive, programmed and emergency) for a master community in the Middle East;

- Work with the Expo 2020 Dubai facilities management team to ensure that all facilities management historic knowledge and assets are identified and transferred to District 2020.  This may include all equipment, consumables, systems, data, contracts, warranties, etc;

- Work with the Expo 2020 Dubai facilities management team to ensure that appropriate facilities management laydown, office and store areas area allocated within the master community;

- Prepare the annual CAPEX and OPEX budget for the facility management department;

- Ensure achievement of all functional strategic objectives within the defined annual budgets and ensure cost effectiveness of facilities management solution;

- Support the Senior Manager Property Management in preparing a yearly plan and budget for the property management department;

- Consistently review operational plans for facility management to ensure alignment with District 2020’s strategic business objectives. Ability to write robust facilities management scope documents and evaluate RFP bidders on a technical basis;

Define facility management objectives and KPI’s for third party providers.

8+ years of experience working in a similar position as well as;

- A Bachelor’s Degree within a relevant field;

- Knowledge of Health and Safety UAE rules and regulations;

- Ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders;

- Strong project management skills;

- Strong written and verbal communication skills;

- Understanding of relevant laws and regulations including those relating to owners’ associations.
